The iRiE KiDZ® Born to be Great Project® provides educational, cultural and creative support and experiences that promotes the development of a positive sense of identity amongst irie kids. Programmes which broadens their experience and outlook on life, and provides them with the tools for self-empowerment.
The iRiE KiDZ® Born to be Great® programme of activities encourages irie kids to express themselves through art, drama, music and language. These initiatives will enable irie kids and young adults to become knowledgeable about their heritage and culture, and the achievements of positive and accomplished Jamaican role models, whom have contributed to making Jamaica great.
It is anticipated that these programmes will bring out the very best in irie kids, and will heighten their level of awareness of their heritage and culture and nurture a positive sense of national pride, unity and identity. iRiE KiDZ® aim is to improve irie kids self-esteem, self-image and self-love, which will be reflected in their daily lives.
